Über die Idee zu diesem Fotobuch // About the idea of this photobook
Ich selbst bin fasziniert von Island, von der Nature und den Menschen! Die Insel gibt mir Energie! Ebenso wie die Menschen, die ich während meiner Islandaufenthalte kennengelernt habe – Isländer und viele deutsche Frauen. Diese selbstbewussten, starken und kreativen Frauen sind für mich inspirierende Vorbilder, an seinem Lieblingsplatz zu leben! Island ist für sie zum zweiten Zuhause geworden. Sie leben in der Natur, mit der Natur – das ist nicht immer einfach. Sie kennen ebenso Heimweh, vermissen ihre Familien und Freunde in Deutschland, und deutsches Essen :) Aber sie leben ihren Traum von einem Leben in Island!
Ich möchte diese selbstbewussten Frauen porträtieren, ihren Begriff von Heimat sowie ihr isländisches Zuhause. Ich bin sehr stolz, dass mir diese Menschen ihr Vertrauen schenken und mich in ihr Zuhause lassen.

Myself I´m really fascinated about Iceland, the nature and the people! The island gives me energy! Also the people I met at my time in Iceland – the Icelanders and also many German women. These confident, strong and creative women are inspiring examples for me to live at the heart place! Iceland become a second home for the women. They live into the nature, with the nature – it´s not easy day by day. They know homesickness and sometimes they missing their families and friends in Germany, the German food :) But they live their dreams of a life in Iceland!
I´ll portray these confident women, their definition about home, their places to live. I´m so proud that they trust me as a journalist and photographer!
