The snow crunches under my shoes. In spite of the dark night the streets are bathed in soft light. Thick flakes falling from the sky the whole day and cover the city with a blanket of snow. The first snow in town that stays. Winter wonderland Reykjavík!
After today I had not dared step out the door in the snow and also with a lot of work, even though dissatisfied with me. So I was out there tonight. I grabbed my camera and enjoyed the winter wonderland. I walked once around the block and to the harbor – a unique atmosphere! On the road the children have fought first snow ball fights. At the industrial area the sound of tuned cars boomed, young people have done a fun slide down at the supermarket parkings. Wonderful! The winter is coming!
